Rumblers Car Show in Brooklyn

We went over to the Rumblers car show in Brooklyn on Saturday, and were lucky enough to see some beautiful bikes and cars under the BQE. This is the tenth year these guys have been putting it on, and it did not disappoint.

Bikers for Bullies

Went down to the second annual Bikers for Bullies put on by my friends at Machine Head Cycles and Hooked on Dogs. Run followed by BBQ. All for raising funds and awareness for adoption of bullies.

Eden Chopper Class

These bikes were on display at the Kustom Kruise In II. They were both produced by the Eden Chopper Class by junior & senior high school students. I've seen them in a couple of local magazines, but this was the first time I had a chance to see them up close. The kids did a great job and the bikes had some very cool details. I am really looking forward to see what they come up with for next year. If you would like to see some more pics, get some additional information or offer a helping hand check them out at their class page.

Kustom Kruise In II

Here are some pics from this past Saturday at the Kustom Kruise In II show at Gowanda HD. The show featured about 40 bikes and 50 cars. They also hosted a number of vendors selling everything from custom bars, tattoos to some seriously rad Elvis sculptures.

Williamsburg, Brooklyn

It's been a while. I've been out exploring. One of the places I've had the chance to spend some time was Brooklyn, specifically Williamsburg. I highly recommend checking out this eclectic neighborhood. Prior to this trip I had spent most of my time in NYC in Manhattan. I never really felt like I fit in to the Manhattan scene. Williamsburg was just the opposite. Easy going, cheap & friendly. If you are planning a trip to the city, plan your base camp in Williamsburg. You will be happy you did.
